Each year we take a small group of our clients to visit the incredible people, wildlife, scenery and mystical shamans of Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. We have come to know and appreciate this beautiful and special pocket of our planet and many of the local shamans.

Shamanic weddings with Izaias and Izabel are one-of-a-kind and are steeped in their ancient Mayan traditions.

Using symbolic stones, cacao, traditional wraps, flowers, alter and fire ceremony, our friends respectfully honour each couple with a beautiful Mayan wedding.

They call upon the spirits of the world, the fire, the sun, the moon, and the stars and make sacred offerings to the spirits and our ancestors.

Weddings in Guatemala are performed at ancestral sacred altars, surrounded by the magical energy of the Lake Atitlan volcanoes. Here you will each be gifted with initiation, beauty, grace, love, ancient tradition and your Mayan Nahuales (symbol representing your time and date of birth) in traditional Guatemalan Jade.
